Let’s Talk Topicz
Privacy, Participation & Submission Policy
Effective & last updated: October 1, 2026
This policy covers the entire Let’s Talk Topicz universe (“we,” “us”), including letstalktopicz.com and every show, brand, and channel within it: Topicz, Unfiltered Intimacy, Okay, Here’s The Case, and their related social accounts, videos, podcasts, books, newsletters, and community conversations.
We are a conversational, educational, editorial, and media platform covering relationships, intimacy, culture, true crime, human behavior, and the experiences that shape how people connect. We value honest conversation, and we believe honest conversation should come with clear boundaries. This policy explains how information and submitted stories may be handled when you interact with us.
This Is Not Therapy or Professional Advice
Our content is intended for conversation, reflection, education, storytelling, and entertainment. Videos, articles, social posts, books, questions, responses, discussions, resources, and community conversations are not therapy and should not be treated as:
- mental health treatment
- medical advice
- psychological diagnosis
- legal advice
- crisis counseling
- professional relationship counseling
- a substitute for working with a licensed professional
We may discuss relationships, emotional health, attachment, intimacy, boundaries, trauma, conflict, betrayal, sexuality, criminal cases, and other personal experiences. These conversations encourage thought and discussion; they do not diagnose or treat any individual, and case discussions are not legal findings. You are responsible for deciding what information is appropriate for your own circumstances.
If you are experiencing an emergency, danger, abuse, or a mental health crisis, contact an appropriate qualified professional, emergency service, or crisis resource in your area.
Information You Choose to Provide
Depending on how you interact with us, you may voluntarily provide:
- your name
- email address
- social media handle
- responses to questions or polls
- relationship stories or personal experiences
- comments or feedback
- topics and questions submitted for discussion
- information submitted through contact forms
- information submitted for possible use in content
Please do not submit information you do not want us to receive.
Story, Topic & Experience Submissions
We may invite people to submit stories, topics, questions, experiences, confessions, situations, or other material for possible discussion or publication. By submitting, you confirm that:
- The experience is your own, or you have permission to share what you are submitting.
- You will not knowingly submit private, confidential, copyrighted, or identifying information belonging to another person without appropriate permission.
- When a story involves other people, you will avoid unnecessary identifying details about anyone who has not consented to being publicly identified.
- The information you provide is truthful to the best of your knowledge.
- Submitting does not guarantee that anything will be published, discussed, responded to, or featured.
We may decline, shorten, edit, summarize, redact, or remove identifying details from a submission before using it.
Anonymous Submissions
If you submit without providing a name for public use, we may identify the submission as “Anonymous” or “Submitted anonymously.” If you give us your name privately but ask not to have it published, we may also present the story as anonymous.
Anonymous publication means we will not intentionally display your name with the story. It cannot guarantee that someone will never recognize a situation from its facts or details, so we encourage you to leave out unnecessary identifying information about yourself and others.
Other People’s Stories
Please don’t submit someone else’s private story simply because you know about it. If the central story belongs to another person, you should have their permission. You may share your own experience involving another person, focused on your perspective. We may refuse material that appears to violate someone’s privacy.
How Submitted Content May Be Used
Unless a submission form states otherwise, voluntarily submitted material may be considered for use across our shows and media, including:
- social media posts and TikTok videos
- discussion prompts
- articles and newsletters
- videos, podcasts, and conversational programming
- educational content
- books or publications
- live discussions and community conversations
- promotional excerpts related to that content
Identifying information may be removed or changed before publication. Submitting material does not guarantee its use. If we plan to use a submission in a materially different way than reasonably expected from the form, we will seek additional permission when appropriate.
Editing and Moderation
To protect contributors and improve readability, we may edit submissions for:
- length
- grammar and clarity
- repetition and readability
- privacy and removal of identifying details
- removal of inappropriate or harmful material
We will not intentionally change the fundamental meaning of a story when presenting it as someone’s experience.
Sensitive Information
Please use care when submitting information involving:
- children or minors
- medical information or mental health records
- addresses, phone numbers, or workplaces
- financial information
- legal matters
- private messages
- sexual experiences
- allegations of criminal activity or abuse
- personally identifying information
We may remove or refuse to publish sensitive information. Never submit passwords, account credentials, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or anything else that could create a security risk.
Email and Community Communications
If you join any of our email lists, we use your email address to send updates about our shows, launches, new conversations, resources, books, and related news. We record which page you signed up from so we can send what is relevant. We do not sell or rent your email address. You can ask to be removed at any time by replying to any email or contacting us below.
How We Store and Protect Information
Sign-ups and submissions are stored with our hosting and database providers and are accessible only to our team. We also use an email delivery provider to send messages and team notifications. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system is perfectly secure. We keep information only as long as it is useful for the purposes described here, and you may ask us to delete what you’ve submitted.
Age
Our content is intended for adults. Please do not submit information if you are under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our shows and platforms grow. The date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
